DEPOSIT
REQUIREMENTS:
A deposit of $500.00 per person is required with
each Reservation Request form and is refundable until the
cancellation penalties begin. Please refer to Holland America's
published brochure for details. If you do not have a brochure, you
may call or visit one of our offices. A final statement will be sent
to you prior to the due date. When making advance deposits of your
final payment, checks or money orders should be made payable to
GRINNELL TRAVEL. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are
accepted.
CANCELLATIONS/INSURANCE:
Cancellations must be made in writing to
Grinnell Travel. If such action is necessary less than 76 days prior
to departure, the participant is subject to any cancellation
penalties suffered by the travel agent. We recommend you consider
purchasing cancellation insurance for your protection. Holland
America's Standard Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) allows you,
for any reason, to cancel up to 24 hours prior to scheduled cruise
or tour departure without being subject to cancellation fees. The
Holland America Platinum Cancellation Protection Plan enables you to
supplement the Standard Plan with insurance coverage with various
travel assistance services. CPP is optional, must be paid at the
time of deposit, and is nonrefundable. Standard CPP is not
insurance. It provides no rights other than those explained above.
It does not protect double, triple or quad occupancy rates should
one or more members of your party cancel. Nor does it cover expenses
or unused services due to trip interruption. CPP is strongly
recommended as Holland America Line will make no exceptions if CPP
is not purchased. Grinnell Travel cannot be responsible for any
penalties imposed by the cruise line.
DOCUMENTATION:
All U.S. citizens are required to have a
passport. Passport must be valid for at least 9 months following the
trip.
AIRLINE
SCHEDULES:
Air schedules are at the discretion of the
cruise line. Grinnell Travel has no control over the air
schedule/seat assignments/equipment or carrier chosen. Itineraries
are provided to Grinnell Travel approximately 21 days prior to
travel. For those of you who would prefer to choose your own air
arrangements, you may request an air deviation. The cruise line will
not accept your request less than 90 days prior to sailing. A
nominal fee will be charged by Holland America for this
service.
